طوفان خاموش Silent Storm (images 1 - 13)

This series was developed in various parts of Israel, home to the long-standing Israeli–Palestinian conflict, in December 2012, in an effort to document the unsettling sense of stillness and silence pervading its cities, with an implicit cry and acheful longing for a sense of renewal, concord and enduring peace - painted upon its city walls.

Vesper pays homage to the qualities of tenderness, grace and innocence that dance through our world, draw its atoms closer together, and fill its sphere with light.

Diptychs 001 – 005 choreograph a relationship between movement and sleep, nurturing possibilities for visual and thematic interconnectedness. The images are hybrids of digital, analogue, Polaroid and app-generated imagery.

She spoke in silent verse, and lulled me down to sleep.

I love being able to observe and experience the magic of weddings, and to witness the quickening spirit of love and unity  that fills the air on such days. There is something uniquely intimate and enchanting about capturing such light-filled moments through the camera lens.”
